My oldest son lives in southeast Sweden and they have geothermal in their house. Their bedrock is solid granite so they drill down where the granite it quite warm and use the loop the heat their house in the long cold winters. AC is rarely needed in Sweden so the focus is on heating. I believe geothermal has been mandatory for new construction for the last couple of decades there. They never need supplemental heat in their house, the geo provides all the heat they need. This was a awesome video..... Joe

Good to see you back. My only concern is the distance between the pipes. I don’t know a lot about this technology but I thought you had to have a minimum distance between the runs of pipe. Thanks for the video of a lot of hard work.
@30:31 did your mini-ex try to EAT you?! Also, what level (if any) is the frost line in your area? I'm thinking here in Alberta I would need to go quite a bit deeper to have an effective system. In any case, great work and welcome back!!
