Installation of a grounding rod to create a solid earth ground. As we begin re-mounting the Starlink dish, wind turbines and solar panels to the storage container and on high poles or towers, they should be earth grounded to help with potential lightening strikes as well as provide solid earth ground for electrical systems.
This is super easy and you should do it if you haven't already in any off-grid system.

Hey. Grind of the paint where the lug makes contact and use a bunch of delectric or copper grease before and after mounting. Mount on the underside if you can to keep out of the weather. Wear a mask when grinding though, I think the paint on those contains lead. Cheers

I can't imagine! We have a lot of clay up there but really no rock, accept where we put it, so as I was driving that in, I was thinking "man, this is great not having to deal with rocks!"

you could have unwrapped the rod in the container.out of the rain

I know right? Honestly didn't think it would be as difficult to unwrap as it was, it was weirdly wrapped. 🤣

I think next time you should make the circle in the thumbnail red and maybe add some emojis to it. Your thumbnails have gotten a LOT better though as you have grown your channel. Hope you have a nice day!

RU-vids "auto thumbnail" finder is kinda terrible haha. So a few times I've spent time making my own and uploading it. Funny you mention it because I was thinking the same thing the other day about spending more time on those since they are thing that people see first. Thanks for the input!

It did! We are lucky we don't have a lot of rocks (except where we put them) but we do have a LOT of clay which can get hard to dig through but that spike went right in.
