Great videos, Sam. You are a wonderful role model and inspiration for young girls everywhere that would rather turn a wrench than play dress-up. My daughter showed interest in jobs at around 8 y.o., at 13 y.o. she could safely operate all the equipment in my woodworking shop, she came on jobs with me remodeling kitchens and baths, building decks etc. It gave her tremendous self-assurance and built up her confidence. It taught her to accept her mistakes as a tool to learn from and not repeat, and the confidence to learn new skills or try things she's never done before. Please keep making these videos, you are an inspiration more then you know. As I taught my daughter don't be afraid to elbow those boys out of your way and say "I got this, go play with a stick"

Samantha, I love your work ethic! I have been a commercial electrician for over 45 years, always cut feeders or conductors for disconnect’s, panels ect longer than necessary, its like cutting hair, I would rather be looking at it than looking for it. Once cut you can’t make it longer. For flexible connections I would normally punch my holes first, before mounting the component, stripping UF cable sux. I like you ambition and motivation, been following AC since he was trashing vehicles and hauling scrap out of the woods or wherever. I subbed to your channel when you had less than 5k subs, still here. You have skills, youth and a eagerness to learn. I admire that, most kids today don’t go outside. Great video Sam. I always cut the end of the cable with side cutters and pull the sheathing and conductors apart. Less chance of shaving the live or hot as you call it. Someone needs to invent a pump clamp with hollow hole punch for enclosure knock out. They always knacker up the box shape when you've got to hammer them
@tiredoldmechanic1791

I like to always run a neutral as well. You might need it for future additions/modifications. A little funfact: In Germany 3-phase power outlets without neutral used to be called „Bauernstrom“ sockets (roughly translates to „farmers electricity/power“) sometimes, because they mostly didn‘t need (and therefore didn‘t run) a neutral for their 3-phase equipment/motors. There is a 4-pin version of the 3-phase CEE sockets (3 phase and ground) but they sometimes used the standard 5-pin (3 phase, neutral and ground) version and just left the neutral disconnected if they didn‘t have a neutral wire. So it‘s best to test for neutral connectivity in old farmers installations, if you need the neutral.
@AW-Services

Doesn't the USA have twin common neturals are multiple conductors for domestic incoming mains supply where the UK has just live netural and ground

Sam was (is? ) very good for Andrew. He looked the happiest when she was around. The first girl (shown by him on his channel ie) that he has ever proudly called his gf. I think Sam likes/loves AC too. They should work at it. Every relationship worth having requires effort and commitment on both sides to make it work. Romance attracts and is fun but love and commitment is the glue that brings true joy not just happiness which depends on happenings. If those happenings don’t happen to happen, happiness doesn’t happen! Joy on the other hand does not depend on happenings. Someone mentioned that AC said Sam “was good till she got ‘weird’ “! As Gump might say “weird is as weird does❗️All who love and find true joy in commitment are ‘weird’ anyway… out of the ordinary by todays standards. ‘Weird’ can be a good weird. But who are we to comment… love them both, especially TOGETHER. God’s blessings for CHRISTmas and ‘23 from a joyous old couple❣️

Good luck to the heat exchange owner, they don’t work in cold weather! If they did work well and were cheaper to run than central heating boilers why would the government give grants, it’s the next big con! Heat pumps do not operate as efficiently when temperatures drop to between 25 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit for most systems. A heat pump works best when the temperature is above 40. Once outdoor temperatures drop to 40 degrees, heat pumps start losing efficiency, and they consume more energy to do their jobs.
