A great find and worthy of your attention. We are on our 3rd Outback, and that's what we drive, We live at 7,000 fwet in the San Bernadino nat forest at Big Bear Lake, Ca. Have fun! Onward!
FYI the best place in the United States to buy batteries from is Costco they have the best prices and the best warranty in the business check it out you will agree and never go back
Love how Lena is by your side throughout the whole job. Glad you could get the car back on the road, we need more of them still running and giving good service. Thanks for the upload Sam, take care.
Great video, I have fond memories of tapes at the beginning of my driving life. When I got myself a CD autochanger it seemed like science fiction. I used to love working on my cars, I felt quite nostalgic watching you work with such diligence on an older car. Thanks for sharing
America is swimming in affordable cars going begging because few want to spend a little time and a couple bucks to revive them. Leave those $50k gas guzzlers on the dealer's lots and do what Sam does.
Kudos Sam, you freely admit you don't know what you are doing but then knuckle down and do it anyway. Good your dad is often around to help and advise. You are the epitome of a "dirty girl" who loves to get down and dirty in the best possible way. More power to your elbow, go girl go! Well done. Now grab a scrubbing brush and go clean up lol!
I've certainly seen rustier cars that's for sure. I decided to let go of a Ford at around the 15 year mark because the floor and front subframe had begun to move on to the afterlife and the thing just wasn't safe anymore. Michigan winters and salt. blah. Anyways, I've always liked these late 90's and 2000's subarus. Very smartly styled and tons of character. For a while I lusted after the mid-late 2000's Legacy spec.B.
Hi Sam I’m from southern West Virginia and I just want you to no I’m inprest on how you work on your job and how you can work on your own car you go girl
Unless you are 100% sure that nothing will prevent the car from being moved later never ever park it partly in the doorway preventing the garage door from being closed overnight.
Why do you want to know ? In case it has anything to do with my comment, from personal experience, never block your garage door from being able to be closed overnight and that means don't leave anything in the way that might prevent he door from closing like an immovable car on ramps. Sometimes this might take a little planning. Like never assume a car repair will be easy sailing.
