It is one of my many RC goals to have a gasser with a smoke system. I was considering adding smoke to my slick 540 before it crashed and burned up. 😀✈👍
Very informative. I have been building and flying RC for about 50 years and I can always learn something. I have always "struggled" with locating holes for the engine mufflers and other cutouts for the engine and your videos are very helpful. Would you mind posting links to the following: the red items you use to hold/secure your spark plug leads and other wiring; the smoke tank you are using and the green vinyl you installed in the cockpit
The mix is controlled by percentage of throttle. So the goal is to only allow enough in that perfectly burned. I did seal the seams underneath with 3m paint protect so that way they never get loose
Holy Smokes it really F-in smokes. we should throw one of them on my al37..lol. I would love to put something like that on my HH vans rv-1 1.1m. Not sure where to get one to fit this plane or if it can be done? Your the best!!
I have the same plane from Gator rc with a 70cc twin. Ready to maiden. I plan on adding smoke later this summer. I am curious what the issue was with the stock nav lights. I have them installed and hooked to a separate battery and switch.
