I did the same leveling kit on my 21 JTRD and put Nitto Trail Grappler 35x1150/17 on my factory 7.5" wide wheels. Been rolling on those for 3yrs now. Saved a lot of money not having to buy wider wheels.
I like it but running the rack and tent on it frequently now I might have been better just running the 1 inch rather than adding the extra half inch. Upgraded steering stabilizer is definitely on my list.
If you plan on running more weight in the bed regularly I’d probably just stick with the 1” puck and not add the additional 1/2 inch. With no load in the rear it sits perfectly level with the 1.5 inch puck.
I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a mechanic. Just a guy on the internet that likes cars and learning new skills. Anyone could do this job with some basic hand tools and some floor jacks. I hope you’re able to get a Gladiator, I absolutely love mine. Thanks for watching!
