Nice. Just a couple notes: Lee Valley also sells downcut mini spiral bits so you don't need to buy them in a pack of 5. In terms of CA, you might consider applying a bit of sanding sealer before installing the rosette to prevent the CA glue from wicking in to the top too much and causing potential discolouration issues. Nice channel!

Now that is precise measurement and routing. The shell is so thin and your rosetta does not need to all the way through. Love the video on the precise workmanship. Makes me want to do better on mine. Keep them coming PLEASE.

Nice work on that Rosette fitting! That's exactly how I installed mine. Same tools, etc... I must say that it was a real learning experience. Anyone doing this for the first time should practice on scrap first & then move on to the real thing. The last thing that you want to do is ruin your soundboard, not a good thing at all & will surely ruin your day.............. :)

I've seen/read elsewhere that CA glue can leach into the wood and stain the spruce top (usually relative to gluing in the bindings). I've seen luthiers who suggest sealing the wood first with shellac (or something similar). Did you have this issue and if so, how did you handle it? FYI - I'm building my first acoustic right now and your videos are my go to...appreciate your work!

i was looking on luthiers and i couldn't find a neck that was one inch thick is 7/8 ok?

Andrea Hryszczuk 7/8 should be fine as long as the 7/8+the thickness of your fretboard is thicker than the thickest part of the neck you’ll carve down to (which it should be). Here’s a really good article about it www.liutaiomottola.com/construction/NeckBlank.htm Good luck
