I’m doing some prep work for next weeks video where I will be installing the Ultimate Air Assist kit on the laser cutter. I thought it would be nice to not have to run an air hose over to the laser cutter every time I wanted to use the laser cutter and as a bonus I get a blowgun over by the Shapeoko! What do you think?
Very nice! My compressor is nearing the end of its life, I believe. It's currently mounted outside and under the floor of my workshop. I looked up your new compressor and was surprised at the level of affordability!
I can recommend it just for the noise level difference! But I've only had it for a week or two so not sure of anything else yet. The DB is quieter for sure but the main difference is just the "sound" of the noise if that makes sense. It is much more tolerable!
Is this a case of everything becomes a nail when you have a hammer? I'm pretty sure he could have made the same mounting plates without the cnc and probably faster too 😕
That is very true. However I don't have any woodworking tools besides a crappy circular saw and maybe a hand saw somewhere. For me it is just easier to draw a few rectangles and circles in Carbide Create and press go!
@@acwrightdesign I would run them up along the ceiling. That way water can drain down and can be blown out of the quarter turn valves on the blocks. I have the same air line system in my garage.
