Nice lesson dude and I would imagine you would have shown the lintel being supported ( back propped) if there was a lot of masonry being built above and not a lightweight roof.
Thanks again Mike, This one wasn't supported due to there only being 2 course of brick and a wallplate on the lintel, but I do show/tell them to support a lintel. so simple but can lead to other problems if missed!
