Installing an Ebay universal GPS speedometer on a honda rebel 

You have seen these universal speedos on ebay and amazon. THe gps units are the easiest to install. Often used for boating and motorcycling. They will provide you with gps speed, odometer, trips. The most expensive ones will be digital and give you indicator lights. You can also get non gps speedos which often have more choices and involve putting a magnet on yoru wheel.
I opted to get a 85mm speedo which would fit right into the rebel 250's cluster without much change. Worked like a charm.
