When I decided to add a ceiling fan to the new post and beam carport, it occurred to me that it may just be better to install an outlet box and wire the fan to a plug instead of hard wiring it to a feed. In any case, that's the route I went so if you're interested in how to install an outdoor ceiling fan and/or how to wire a ceiling fan so it can be plugged in and unplugged, let's get busy!
