Me too. It would be really fantastic if he manager to insert linux distro installation script into Windows graphical installation environment. But ok I consider satifyed to see installation was prepared using Windows.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll be able to use the functionality of Ext2Fsd and some features of DiskGenius (more than diskpart can do) *inside cmd* and it'll install some Linux almost unattendedly while in WinPE

@@SevoosChannel init system is what basically starts up the services the first time you boot, in this case, for arch linux, it is systemd, but i don't know if it is just /sbin/systemd or something different (i'm using openrc)

The symlinks may not have been preserved in the .tar file.

I doubt VMWare would act like Nintendo with a micro channel... Anyway, it's not monetized yet. Also, I just find VirtualBox more convenient at: switching from guest to host; .vhd support; Guest additionals - local VMWare tools - compatibility with older OSes

Let's point it out like this. When you use Android phone and connect a USB drive you used on Windows you can just leave the folder there or delete it. It's an out of logic folder.

Idk what kind of a way did the guy use to install arch and if he got it working on baremetal, but arch linux in of itself is well capable of running windows apps within wine/proton, or windows on virtual machines(being the most impressive ones on kvm with gpu-passthrough).

You're right, it didn't require any kind of inventions/other original ideas, but why make things more complicated than they need to be? The whole process can be automated theoretically, and perhaps even put into WinPE. Also, I haven't found anything similar in other videos/articles, which required me to put much effort into making it work. Bruh I literally learned to install Arch manually (the regular way) while proceeding

Someone made a winpe that deploys windows which then installs alpine however this could be fake as I have not done much research into it
