I came here because I needed to get the seat off my 2002 two seater. You made it look so easy. Finally I just yanked and it came unsnapped. I've watered my batteries for the first time. I think seeing you do it helped... but it's surprising how hard it was to find instructions for that.
Thanks for the vid. I'm curious what batteries you installed in the GEM? My 2013 GEM E4 has Centennial CB12-115 which are AGM, so I am looking for a cost effective equivalent. Apex has a Trojan Group 31-AGM Battery for $187 that looks decent for the price...
I installed costco "commercial" group 31 Maintenance free lead acid batteries in this gem to save money. I would recommend GEL battery for any gem after 2004. I recommend this group so you can get more opinions. community.electricforum.com/c/gem-forum/101
It doesn’t matter in which order you connect them, but make sure that once you connect the batteries then turn on the master switch. (The master switch should be off while you connect the batteries)
xcolby, sorry but you're so wrong. the 1st battery's (-) go to the 2nd battery (+), 2nd battery's (-) go to the 3rd battery (+) & so on. It's a series. 6 battery x 12v = 72v.
