I just had a toad chaos long traveling kit put on my Toyota Sequoia first gen With kings all the way around. 488 His gear's front and rear Eton lockers Nitto ridge grapplers with method B block technology wheel. Front and rear high clearance metal bumpers with Warn 10000 pound wench Pre runner high Clearance front fenders. Rock sliders bumpers and rock sliders came from coastal off road kits you weld together There's a lot of stuff on it too much to list I spent 43K on the build. 13000 of that is in labor.. I'm getting it back tomorrow May 4th. I forgot about it I was already to go off rouding But they reminded me I needed to put 500 miles on it before I do anything off road for a break in period. I'm not just because of the gears but for everything so it all settles in. That's where a lot of people make Mistakes is they immediately go off routing and they break something and don't understand why they broke it. That is a really nice forerunner And that is a pretty wide long travel it looks but I think you're right about It being black And just appearing wider..
Those look like LT length shocks stuffed in a stock length control arm setup, looks to have an insane amount of binding only a matter of time till catastrophic failure happens.
nice video but you boys need some jack stands under that truck or at the very least slide them tires under the frame. I have known a couple of people who are no longer with us for the very same reason
At the bare minimum it will be a LT kit which includes Upper control arms, lower control arms, and extended tie rods. Then you’ll need larger shocks to go in the kit. But these kits should have a lot more items such as gusseting, reinforcement, bump stops, limit straps, etc. Essentially making the front end a lot more durable.
