Easiest way I've seen, thanks. I'll probably do the same knots, but with stuff away from the bow string (covered by serving, whiskers, etc), I like to take a drop of gorilla gel super glue on the end of a tooth pick and then lightly dab the last knot (after burning). Then let that dry carefully (without getting on your bare string). It pretty much guarantees that your knot will never come lose on its own and will have to be cut off. You can do this with serving nock points also, just be careful.
Thank you for the video.... I don't know what I did. Mine looksore like a jelly fish or a branches on a willow tree.... Hope that it's OK lol. Hopefully next time I do one it will look better
Hi I'm not sure what is the reason to install these type of dumpeners. There are already weights (the two pieces in between you install the dumpener) that are very effective in "consuming" wave energy in the string. That base on physics harmonics in the string. These dumpeners are airbrakes that are effective between the release and the moment the arrow leaves the string. But that mostly reduce the speed of the arrow.
Do you think braided fishing line would work as well as the serving thread the material looks very close to each other? And if not what brand of line do you use?
+Jay D I have used it before. Just make sure you get a thick enough line so as not to cut the whiskers. I would recommend something in the .018 to .021 thickness range (whatever pound test that is).
How did I get here??? I was just watching dil videos and somehow I got here. I am on the wierd side of the internet again arent I? I need to escape!!! Help me!!
