This was way informative I had my chain broke and did not know what to do couldnt find any videos that helped but this one was perfect thank you now I can fix my chain.
Could someone please help me I just got my motor installed on the hyper beach cruiser I cannot beat my chain into the sprocket because the sprocket is not turning on my engine I've got this spark plug and hooked I haven't even started it yet but it's not you feed it through what the hell's going on
I use a Rigid drill for a screw driver and a Rigid impact. I hardly ever pick up a screwdriver or a ratchet. By the way I have several you-tube channels and hardly visit this one. So many people have made comments that I never expected or replied to. I guess I should visit this channel more often. And maybe make some more videos.
I believe it is because having the spark plugs on makes it harder for the piston to rotate therefore meaning it will be harder to rotate the chain on the sprocket
I made a video on that. Sorry for not replying. I haven't visited my channel in a long time. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wIsNWx7SHrI.html
Techead97 is correct, however I have read several articles on using #41 roller chain, easily purchased in places like tractor supply - it has identical spacing and pitch but is a tiny bit wider (less apt to jump rear sprocket) and a much higher breaking point (2000 lbs) - master links and half links are easily available as it is used in a huge variety of applications - I wanted to buy it to replace my chain but unfortunately couldnt find it in this part of costa rica
This bike wasn't mine, it was a customers. However I always say, there is no such thing as an ugly bike. If the owner likes it, that's all that matters.
