@@chris_borges Love mine too. A tip to anyone buying Vland headlights if you buy the Vland OLM version from FT86SpeedFactory they come preinstalled with HIDS.
Hey bought Vland for FJ Cruiser 2007 do you have any wiring tips cause i can't get them to work right, can't find Utube video for my car Help if you can Thanks ps they look great if i can get them to work right. Thanks
O 9 hey bro I just got my FRS and I was also in the process you were ! I recommend just practice at night to get more comfortable with your clutch, to shift smoother you gotta let go of your clutch slower in the lower gears like 1st and 2nd , the higher gears you can let go faster. also downshifting isn’t necessary when learning , just throw it in neutral and catch the gear.
Watch some tutorials on youtube and practice, best tip i can give you is learn the rpms that ur car runs in different gears. For example if 3rd gear at a certain speed is 3000 rpm and 2nd is at 5000 rpms at the same speed that's the target rpm you would tap the throttle hard enough to get it up to the 5000 rpms while you shift from third to 2nd. The closer you get to matching it perfectly the smoother the shift will feel.
David Ferman this is so so wrong dont throw it in neutral when your learning ffs down shift through all the gears to get more practice also thats not true at all about the clutch speed please dont tell people how to drive when you clearly cant.
Just picked up an S2000 with a stage 4 clutch and I'm still trying to get the hang of it haha. First manual vehicle I ever owned, but I have driven manual in the past before.
Bought mine from FT86SPEEDFACTORY great headligghts that came with the HIDs but a part of me cant help but wonder if id just bought w/o HIDs and put in bulbs myself it probably wuuldve just been like 2-3 hundred-ish
@@chris_borges they explain to me that "I know you nervous and worried about your engine blowing up, we had your guys trained and spent $10,000 in training ti get them prepared for the J02 Recall less silicon sealant and 5 extra work hours to complete it correctly
What I do is I keep a gallon tank in the trunk when I’m on e85, I drive till the car dies, put in the gallon of pump gas then go to the nearest gas station
Yeah I know I store pump gas not e85, I only store it when I’m planning to switch back over or else the cans just empty. The point of letting it run dry is to burn the last of the e85. Also the injector pumps for the firs/brz are only like $150, not too bad.
@Eze&Yare Dominguez She's got a supercharger and a full exaust so yeah I had to strap her down to a dyno and get a completely new map to juice out all the power I could. Even if it's on E there's till reserve fuel left, I like to get rid of all of it, dont want the two fuels mixing. What ever is left in the lines will burn up.
Hello chris i bought the same exact headlights bc i saw your video. I tried installing it yesterday and do you have to manually turn on the boomerang using thenparking light?
E85 saves the price per gallon but you need more E85 and will need to go fill up more often. Basic with 91/93 it last longer because it doesn't need 2x the flow!
Theres a reason why everyone went to vlands. But just don’t let ur car out on rainy days or really cold days cuz u will get water in them or and condensation.
Love the headlights but please keep this in mind , I just had mine for about a month and have had some issues with water getting inside of the headlight and messing up the lens with dried up water spots and small rocks !!
Chris Borges is this common in the states i see alot of people running low octane over there. seen lambos only on 94. we have 98 here at id say essily 90% of gas stations think i only ever seen one without it
Probably not new info, but the exhaust crackle is unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust. It will be less exciting, and less flamey, but may I suggest if you want to save money on fuel, or at least save fuel when enroute to the fuel station, it maybe worth having a backup crackless tune (heresy I know) which you can switch to in squeaky bum times of empty.
Chris Borges hahaha, I shouldn’t have been so quick to conclusions! I appear to have made myself look quite the fool :) Also I admire your decision to put the airbag back in your car, safety is something often overlooked in a lot of car content, it’s refreshing to see someone address this problem 👍
Jelle Libeer They aren’t as bright as oem housings. I had to adjust them to point higher because out of the box they were aimed down which made visibility really bad. Still messing around with adjustments though!
How long have you been running e85 for and how often do you switch back and forth? I really wanna run e85 on my car once I get headers but was told wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t have a flex fuel kit? Any thoughts or inputs from anyone would be greatly appreciated please 🙏🏻❤️
Sk8ERKID ! I only ran it for a few weeks. I’ve only switched over a handful of times. Haven’t heard anything about it being bad without a flex fuel kit but it’ll be more beneficial with one!
