This week we are installing chocolatey package manager and to store our packages we need a chocolatey server. in this how-to guide, we install chocolatey server and configure the chocolatey repository on the clients.

No as the repository that its install from isn’t stored to my knowledge but feel free to chocolatey.org/support They have a discord channel

Yes you can used the chocolatey download if you have pro or business license docs.chocolatey.org/en-us/choco/commands/download

Hi, can chocolatey used as windows patch management and 3rd party software installation/upgrade, in a 500 to 600 PC environment? Thanks in advance

It can be used to package up patches for deployment, however you would still need to run the chocolate install command, this is something puppet or ansible are good for as they can deploy chocolatey packages and make sure they are consistent. So short answer yes, longer answer it's only.part of the puzzle.
