How to create a chocolatey package 

I don't know what your name is, but I want to say that you are the man. I've been watching and taking notes, I've learned a great deal from your demos Thank you.

Man thanks a lot after watching this video I was able to create my own package it helped me a lot once again thanks.

best practice should be to use the checksums to see if the package is the intended package the creator used. it prevents the package from being altered as the checksums will not match.

Fantastic and helpful walkthrough. Thank you! Is anyone you know of creating simple sample install projects? If you picked one of 4 or 5 use cases, it seems those custom-made templates (with scripts only 30-40 lines long) would be infinitely easier to work from than what Chocolatey is providing. I have to agree with you that "more is less" when it comes to the overly verbose sample project. I've spent WAY too many hours of my life looking into "how to create a chocolatey package" and more than once have just given up because it's too much work - still not having successfully completed one (but let's hope that changes soon).

thank you for this informative video. it is from 2018 but is it still the same process? or has it been changed. from looking at the documentation it looks about the same but just thought id ask.

please make a python GUI with queuing so we can install multiple packages at same time easily
