I had a bad fall last night with my felt sole wading boots. I installed these today and hope they will give a bit of grip on grass and ground. I first got a small nail and got it red hot and started the holes that way. Seemed to work perfectly. Cheers
I put them on my rubber sole that came with my corker boots. Just grind off a little bit of the point on a grinder and they work fine. I bought the sheet metal screws at lowe's for about $2.00 and they work fine. Korker wants $50.00 for they same sole.
It worked great. But I did take them all back out and reinserted them with a few drops of epoxy to keep them in tight. I’ll never wade without them again.
They’ll be fine! I’ve had one fall out without any problems. I’ve put them in three pairs of felt wading boots. Definitely recommend putting a drop of epoxy or gorilla glue on the screw threads when you install.
