Got these springs on my van, well recommended. You need to fit the limit straps you mentioned as technically it will fail MOT without them as spring will fall out when they jack it up. Also you need to be looking at a chassis notch on front, you can go low to match rear, but still have some travel. 👍👍
I will be getting a notched subframe soon but want to explore what I can get first before that but yes definitely 🤙 the straps will be getting fitted before the next MOT as saves any messing about
My lowered T4 ( 225 /45/ 17 ) was scrubbing rear tyres off in 4,500 miles , strangely the front tyres were lasting 6000 miles . I couldn't justify the cost in tyres so I put my van back to std ride height on 225/65/16 steels . Four years later and I still have 6mm left on every tyre.
Get grinder on them rear arches mate and trim them back to stop them rubbing the tyres.i have just done my front arches. Just dropped my van off for water pump and all belts replacing
Going to be grinding the arches back and getting smaller tyres hopfully that's more than enough, I need to change my belts really, hope u get your back very soon 🤙
I've got 6inch Faulkner just fitted on mine. I'm getting a horrible rub and squeek in the dry. Do you think the shims that are available will help. Still got bump stops original and don't want to cut them.
The noice you hear is the bumpstop mate you will need to cut it down as at the moment you don't have full suspension travel it bottoms out on the bumpstop, I not running any shims and I'm on 4s and didn't use them when on the 5s either

I not to sure on the offset I need to check really, I'm going to grind down the arches and get smaller tyres that should both help, then 4 inch springs lol
