Great video. I'm doing a similar project at the moment and busy planning the front wall to include french doors. Quick question - did you position your door frame far enough forward to allow the doors to open through 180 degrees as planned? Or do you need the door frame in line with the front cladding?

Well the doors were set as far forward as possible to the main timber frame but unfortunately it does not open 180 but I would say they open about 100-110 degrees before it catches on the cladding. Its fine for me but if I was to redo that section, I would frame the door in a thicker timber to mount the doors further forward
@@JazzScottDIY Thanks for taking the time to reply. I recall seeing another video with a secondary timber door mount to get the door further forwards - I'll have to give that some thought.
