Finally convinced myself to get these extended paddle shifters from JCR, despite the cost (nothing JCR is cheap). These are much more pronounced and with the black coating they finally match the interior (as opposed to the shinny aluminum paddle shifters that come stock from factory). In terms of practicality, they offer better shifts if changing gear midst turn in the manual mode is your thing but otherwise it's mostly a cosmetic (and oddly, a weight saving) upgrade.
If you cannot get yourself to buy one of those cheap peel'n'stick paddle shifter extenders, this along with maybe 1-2 other carbon fiber versions are the only option available at the moment.
