This is what I’ve been looking for because like you I’ve got flat bottom cabinets that you really can’t hide the LED strips and also a granite backsplash.

I would prefer just a switch. Remotes get lost and have to be in-hand which can be a hassle when in the kitchen. sticking on the wall isn't the most durable or pro looking

perfect, I would put the LED facing the wall, but is just preferences, good job, really clean and neat

You want to know something. After installing the lights and having it for a couple of months your suggestion is a good one.

What do you mean ? Like flip the channel so 45 degree is facing wal? Or leave the channel but flip led strip upside down ?

The set up I showed, yes. They have high voltage set ups but they aren’t the best. If you have a problem with the soldering, Home Depot sells a kit where you crimp the wire on instead of having to solder. I can post the link to it if you’d like.
