Mate, thank you soooo much for showing this, as an older gamer I’m not tech savvy, I love 7D2D and have been wanting to install mods for ages, cheers 👍🏼😃
Thanks for the tutorial dragon, i had a rough idea on how to get them but hopefully this finds more people to help them out. PS you should probably also mention because 1.0 is an unstable build chances are your save could get corrupted when the fun pimps make 1.0 the official version. also quickly just two questions, one why go thru the manual mod method and not thru a mod installer? and two which site do you get ur mods off, either nexus or 7 Days To Die modding? PS thanks for the video again.
I’ve never used a mod installer, never needed one I’ve always done it in this method and never come up against a problem and as they say if it ain’t broke don’t try and fix it,
For what its worth, I have good luck with the Nexus. I am not particularly good at downloading stuff, so I usually use the 7 Days to Die Modlauncher. It is very easy to use and it lists many of the most popular Mods, like Darkness Falls.
@@iceup1 I have a video explaining this, Using Nexus Mods For 7 Days To Die 1.0: A Step-by-step Guide ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UyhIuukY6xM.html
mfer is the goat, i didnt really know about the mod folder and with the old tutorials out there overshadowing the newer ones that aren't updated, its quite hard to figure out how to mod, thanks a lot!
@@vambach2947 I would suggest to not do it, I’ve lost saves by doing this, but I’ve also had them be absolutely fine, I suppose it’s really up to you if you want to try
I was playing V1.0 unstable. I wasn't expecting the Stable version to still work after it properly released. Should I start a new game anyway? and if adding mods is it also best to start a new game?
I left a thumbs down, because, part of the modding process, is finding mods. I have no idea where you got them from, to start moving files. This video did not help.
