If you bought these brakes aftermarket via BMW for a 1/3 series they were gold too. Looks very similar to Phoenix yellow.

Great minds think alike. I’ve just got very similar wheels and I’m planning on painting my callipers. Agreed with your decisions for the 135i!

I don’t want to hate on what anyone does…..especially people that do the work themselves…..but that’s how you paint up rusty steel callipers. A nice big 6 pot deserves removing and doing properly. I know re bleeding seems a pain. But for the sake of 2 bolts and a few pedal pumps it really is worth it. Nice choice on the wheels. M2 CS would have been my choice but can’t go wrong with CSL’s……and the fact you didn’t paint them black makes me smile. This car is gonna look sick…..as long as you don’t fail on colour choice. Good luck.

I know this is an old video but please tell me you've started to change the way you paint the discs n brake calipers! Imo 1 you shouldnt paint the disc, because when you fit new discs and brakes they burnish to mate so they have the same markings/slight scores for smoother breaking, I think you chance upsetting that by painting them and 2 please disassembled the calipers, God help you if you have to take them apart for a repair. That'll be like tryin to pull a hinge off a house interior door when its covered in layers of paint, a right ball ache. But with that being said it's your car, so your choice, but I'm a non car owning woman that would do it my way lmao 😂
