Stuart plastics is the place to go! They had a recommendation for a stronger materials, because somebody can possibly step on it. And then just sealed it up with a marine silicone.
I went to a little glass shop in Stuart Florida that does the acrylic. I went with what they recommended it was the more sturdier one and tinted just in case anyone stepped on it. Just used marine grade silicone to install it. You don’t want anything too crazy just in case it doesn’t seal properly or you need to make repairs in the future. I wish I could remember more details for you but that was 4 years ago.
