Also on my 2022 I needed to removed two bottom ones and the second one on the upper just on the passenger side. The driver’s side was the same.

They should! I would check with the manufacturer before you purchase or open the panels up to see if you have the wires

I would recommend a switch module, I have the Aux Beam, its cheap and works great! But this allows you to add lights and other 12V accessories as needed.

Great question! 1 year later they are working great! Best investment, especially over the winter when the days are short!

I think it is only factory installed. The inverter is under the center console. You might find a generic kit online. Shouldn’t be too hard to install

Those would work just fine! You will want a socket set too! Look for adapters between socket sets and drills

Some people knock harbor freight but for some things it’s worth checking

I don’t have a switch in my cab either, is there a connection in the dash for it? Just want them to automatically come on when doors open

two are for the light, and two are for the bed. You only need to remove the two for the lights, but I chose to remove all 4 to make it easier for me.

In the TRD versions there is a place holder to keep the harness dry and clean. I hope that helps.

They have been installed for 2 years now. No issued what so ever!

You can sometimes find aftermarket switch kits for this. I didn’t need one, but I’m sure they are out there!

A few things 1) I love how it’s constructed of aluminum, keeps it light. but it’s not reinforced, so I wouldn’t be comfortable putting any weight on it. 2) it doesn’t have a lock, If you lock the bed it’s pretty secure, but people have told me it’s possible to use a hanger to open. 3) because it’s a flush mount it has these drain tubes that run through the bed, the tubes provided are corrugated plastic, I think they could have provided a better solution to the drainage. All in all I do recommend it!

I just ordered the lights for my 2022 Tacoma SR5 that I purchased this week. Doing a few modes to it starting this Saturday. As for your bed cover, had one on my 2019 Tacoma. It is not leak proof and the seals aren’t exactly wide enough for the bed.

Okay so my light kit came today for my 2022 Tacoma SR5 access cab that has no deck light, it has a break light there. No switch is installed in the dash either. So now the service department at my dealership is saying that my truck wiring harness doesn’t allow for the installation of the lights. I haven’t checked for myself but plan to.

did you figure it out? I believe the SR needs to have a switch any or a relay added but no one can tell me for sure
