I just purchased a new 2024 Chevrolet Trax 1RS and I'm already starting the mods! This is a small mod, but it really enhances the look that I was going for as far as the turn signal goes. These Auxbeam 7443 Switchback LED Bulbs with built in Canbus error free resistors are so cool!

I just installed these and here is what I found: 1. They are light sensitive. If your daytime running lights switch is on, these are off when the sun is out. HOWEVER, if your daytime running lights are on and it is dark outside these lights will come on. 2. The yellow indicator lights work in any condition bright out or darkout. 3. So do not expect these lights to "stay on" on a bright sunny day. 4. Pauly C only tested these in a dark condition (garage and night time). Maybe you think these are on when you are driving around during the day but they aren't. 5. Pauly C is right. They will only work during the day if the park lights are on. 6. For some reason these disable the daylight running lights when the sun is out. if the daytime running lights switch is on, the round bottom lights are still off. So if it is bright out the dash board could say "day lights on' or "day light off" everything is off no matter what. -region: USA

I noticed the same thing. they come on only in the dark or when the auto light kicks in. If you turn your lights to on then both lights come on. I think that my regular DRL are on even if the switch backs are off when on auto. Will have to double check. - BTW @itsmepaulyc This and the LED interior lights were a great upgrade. Would love if we can figure out how to keep these switchbacks active when on auto during the day

A led bulbs from different brand, with matching oem wattage on led, a switchback and with an active cooling fan is such a huge upgrade. Honestly, u get ur money’s worth on those auxbeam - B21 series switchback. Something like this price is different because of the quality material they use. Between $31-$100 a pair. So this $41 price range is a very convenient to buy and very nice upgrade. Be mindful of how u use it.

Ahhh man thanks for this!! I just ordered my 1RS, trying not to break the bank since I don’t drive too much and I’m also not a fan of leather seats in the 2RS. That said the LEDs were bugging me! I will pick some of these up! Thanks for the video!

The Activ has turn signal down by the head light is the 1 RS different and the Activ has a running day time LED up on top. I did not realize that the same car was so different

Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. I was actually going to do that mod on my last 2021 Trax. I hated that horn. This ones not as bad though. '

Finally I get to see how theee auxbeam led bulbs. I always go for Auxito. But those are much better product. For a very good price. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 An led bulb with a built in resistors and a cooling fan that produces 28W per bulb is a great upgrade

These bulbs are so cool and convenient! I love that the resistors are built in to. I do use auxito as well in other applications like headlights in my previous car as well as interior lighting. Very good products.

Thanks for the great video. Can people post here if they experience problems with the electronics? The manual did specifically ask owners NOT to swap incandescent blubs for LED. Maybe swap the bulbs back before requesting for warranty repair.

They sure can post here, Guy. I've tested these particular LED's for two weeks with no problems. However, I must warn people that are thinking of doing the lights in the back of the car. They didn't work for me with the bulbs I tested. I put LED's in the reverse and turn/brake lights and had problems occur like the rear camera staying on right when you turn the car on and not being able to control the radio because of it. I also experienced problems with the reading on the TPMS system. I removed the those bulbs and the problems went away. I highly recommend staying away from changing the rear lights of the car. So far so good with the front though.

Hey, congratulations Jennifer! These are really great vehicles! Regarding the bulbs, you have to check your model. The higher up models from mine actually have an LED light strip where I installed my bulbs and the turn signal lights on those vehicles are located just below the headlights. Hope this helps.

Where do you want to put them and what type of vehicle do you drive? I wouldn't suggest red in the front, it's illegal in most places.

Lucky you can use red! I don’t have a recommendation on a red LED bulb, but if you do go to Amazon to buy them, look for LED’s that have switchback and make sure they also say Canbus so you won’t get the hyper flashing. The number for the front is 7443. Check one of my links for an example 👍
