Installing the 2022 Sigma 6 Shifter 

Installed this in my mk8 r, what a difference!! Thank you for your quick responses in email and for the support! This video helped with install and after one adjustment of the side to side that took a total of 5 minutes it is absolutely awesome.

Just got mine in, was wondering if there is any adjustment in the amount of throw or if its just one position

Is the short shifter front and back throw adjustable there nothing in the website and there also a extra hole any information would be great

Hey I want to know if the throws are adjustable to be shorter I see there an extra hole but there nothing listed in the website

Question - I'm working on a manual swap for a 2013 Golf TDI. One thing I need is the shifter, I've noticed 90% of the CR TDI shifters start with 1k0 711 049 but the last two digits I.E. CA, CC, CD is the only difference. Are shifters cross compatible? Also depending on which one I get, does the Sigma 6 work on any of the CR TDI transmissions? The transmission is also from a 2013 Golf TDI.

Question: I have the sigma 6 shifter on my 04 GLi, and my reverse lockout doesn’t work. It’s like the wall for first gear is gone. Could a readjustment help?

Anyone know the torque specs on that 13mm? Really not trying to snap that…

Just finished install today. All gears move into place with no problem during test drive. I am noticing more noise (almost as if something is loose) when going into 3rd. THe noise is coming from the shifter area in the cabin. Any thoughts on this?

I have the original sigma six shifter installed on my 2021 GLI, is there any reason to switch to this one or the one I have installed is fine as is just for new customers this one is better for installation and adjustment purposes?

Question, the shift tower lock lever on my transmission is broken. Is it possible to properly adjust without locking at the shift tower? More importantly - is it possible to replace the lock lever without dropping the transmission? -T.i.A.
