The black plastic ring helps you pop in the piston without the hook. It pushes down the gasket from all sides so you can easily slide in the piston. It will help you in future maintenance.
Great video. Didn't see you install the acorn nut, or silicon tube or steel tube all of them screw onto the same drain hole just behind the pressure gauge? Apparently either/or for any if these 3 items. What comes out the hole anyways?
I got rid of the PPK after about a year of use , Using it along side a stock machine , both machines 1978 - 1983 , found it too finiky and not really very usefull . Though I liked the Idea at first and the look . They were around several years ago and the idea used by many folks . The air buster just tries to make them work . While a good idea its a lot of extra things to go wrong . Beauty in simplicity , fewer moving parts the better :)
As usual, you keep imposing your idea and style while thousands are using the ppk and AirBuster and claim that the machines work and perform BETTER. What's the real reason for you guys keep trashing products that do what they suppose to do and that really work and improve the machine?
