Do you really need that much thread locker with 2 set screws? I really like this compensator, but also plan on running a suppressor and don’t want it cemented in there 😅
Just zeroed the Aimpoint Acro p2 on this pistol. Shot 100rounds at the range first time out. Tip; learn to grip it properly and you won’t need this comp. Pistol has a smooth recoil like a wave,…better to invest in a silencer for those threads.
With the recoil assembly will this work for regular 230 ball/target ammo. I have tried several compensators and they never cycle reliably. I just ordered mine now. I didn't get the email reminders that it was in stock though. Just happened to check the site.
No, the recoil assembly we provide is not optimal for uncompensated fire. Your results match ours, that's why we had to come up with a new recoil assembly. The comp works too well and was slowing the slide too much. With our recoil assembly installed, the slide velocity is set just right and it works. Sorry about the Back In Stock Notice issue. We discovered a technical issue after they were restocked, we're definitely going to have words with out web people.
@@apextactical as of right now I’m testing your brake and it works very well with the 460 Rowland ammunition conversion so far A very good alternative to their brake , i’ll get back to you after 500 rounds
I’m having issues with mind binding up about a quarter of an inch before the Comp hits the slide. I don’t see any damage to the threads on my barrel or the comp…
Does anyone know if this comp makes the pistol somewhat unreliable? I know that tinkering with your firearms brings the reliability down and last thing I’d want is to spend another $200 on top of what this gun cost just so it can jam.
We test our products more than anybody else in our space to be fully reliable before release to our customers. This compensator went through several thousand rounds before the spring and comp were approved for use. Our customers who have them love them and have reported back total reliability. I don't expect you to take our word for it, look up other videos on the MRAT and see what actual shooters are saying.
Yes, the included Recoil spring is lighter than the factory. This is necessary because the MRAT eats up so much of the available recoil energy that with the factory spring, the slide won't cycle. In our product development testing, we had people of varying shooting skills, body sizes and hand strength shoot them to assure that we had the springs dialed in.
When are you guys gonna fire up those machines and make more? Seems silly to be out of stock. Do you need me to send you a bar of material? Is your bar feeder down? Or just lazy ass machinists?

I have used your products on several pistols and love the products. Talking with a customer service is always a great experience, but whoever is running your Web site needs some remedial training on responding to requests. Yes, it's a negative comment, but how else are you going to improve? It's not by telling you that you are doing a great job when you are not.
