We didn’t have too in the Cruze but if it had any trans codes stored might need to just do a reset on the ecm and tcm by unhooking the battery terminals and putting them together for a min
Hi Guys, I got a Cruze too, I agree with you that there is very little to no information. But from what I have been able to find, the fluid level is checked and topped off with the engine hot. Automatic transmission fluid temperature must reach at least 185 deg F. I've checked mine and I can't get it any hotter than 169 deg F in half an hour s worth of driving. If anyone knows how to get the the operating temperature up without destroying the transmission, could you let me know.
Normal temp I have ever seen is around 160 and my truck pulling a trailer might reach 165. I don’t remember if I said in the video but there is a little plug on the side you fill till it comes out.
