INSTALLING THE ST3K STEDI LIGHT BAR ON MY SUZUKI JIMNY 

I am really impressed with the way you have explained everything step by step and good on you for having a go, im also an electrician and i know for a fact the wiring you have used is absolutely fine, if you are going to add more accessories like a uhf or driving lights i recommend a fuse panel thats powered with positive and negative bus bars built in, helps keep the engine bay neat and tidy especially in a jimny 👌

I like the thought process behind your installation. I went a different route but accomplished a similar result. That said I might have had to do a different installation process as I have the H4 halogen wiring.

Nice installation. Everything well tucked away out of sight. Smart idea using the chopstick getting the cable through the firewall! Having that extra lightbar switch, high beam with or without the lightbar, is an excellent option when driving in fog/rain/snow when too much light is reflected back on the driver. From personal preference I cannot find good looking LED lights, they all are so darn ugly. Adding the lightbar under the roof rack is what I’d do too as it’s less a dominant position compared to other locations on the car. And the high position on the roof provides better reach/distance lit up in front of the car. As you’ve added several electrical connections to the positive/negative on the battery, they might be a problem in the future if the electrical surface area isn’t paid attention to. To avoid any future issues, to avoid power/current loss, I have learned that marine electrical wiring is preferable. Looking forward to your next videos. 🍻

Ah so you had to buy a piggyback adapter that fits the Jimny. I was going to get ARB to wire mine to my jb43 but they quoted me $900 so now I'm teaching myself. Does the piggyback go into the plug for the main bulb in the headlight?

I am confused, does the lightbar goes on with a switch or if the high beam light of the car is put on ?

Hey!, Im having trouble knowing what to connect and what not for the switch to light up only when the key is on. I already tested the lights with the battery and all but the light of the switch is constantly on and I dont want that. Do I need to connect just some of the cables to the light switch?, there are like 6 or so, its a big plug.
