Making an ugly and outdated home look fresh and modern, you can do this by just adding a few inexpensive cosmetic updates, selecting contrasting colors, and having consistency. These vinyl shutters were very easy and straight forward to install. Simply pre-drill holes in your siding and screw them to the walls next to your windows. The total project took me under an hour to complete. The hardest part was getting the ladder where I needed it!

I would like to put shutters on my house as well, but I can't bear to put holes in the vinyl siding. 😄

These screws came with the shutters in the package from Amazon so I’m not entirely sure exactly what they are. I’d say probably 3 inch #8 size construction screws roughly. Hope that helps!

Appreciate you watching and commenting! These shutters have been installed now for a couple of years with no problems, the old lady picked them out herself just the style she wanted 😀.
