Installing Zibo Mod

I've been wanting to do this for ages but all I did was ask friends who didn't know either and the thought of searching up a tutorial on RU-vid never crossed my mind but i'm glad I came across your channel man. Hello eveyone! To all those searching for the base B737-800X-Folder in the google Drive: There is a Zip-Folder named "B737-800X_X_XX_rcX.X_full_win_mac_lin". This contains everything, so basically skip the step where you merge the two folders. You can then update the mod using the method shown in the Video

Before you try and install, go to where your Steam folder is installed usually c;/program files x86, double click on the steam folder then look for another steam folder double click , then double click steamapps, then open common file, then open xplane11 file, then open resorce ,then plugins , that's where you install all plugins for xplane 11 .

Just as I thought. This stuff is for computer geeks (sorry no offense) not pilots. Maybe if I followed the directions back in Sept. 2018 it might have worked, but not in Mar. 2020. The files were different on the download page so I picked a couple that I thought I needed, but it seems they were only manuals. When I tried to download the 737-800 file, I got a message saying something like "Your download limit has been exceeded. You cannot download this file at this time". ...and so the story goes...my life story with flight sims. At least I didn't spend too much time finding out that I cant do it.

One thing I would love to see in the flight sim world is screen sharing technical support. I would be happy to pay for such a service but it just doesn't exist. I even posted it as suggestion on X-Plane.org, hoping that maybe there are some entrepreneurials out there that might make some money at that, but that idea was shot down. I don't get it.

I'm opening this in google drive but when I open GD I dont find the first file you mention to download, the "B737-800X" in the top left. Any idea why I'm not seeing this?

I have everything all downloaded. When I load into the zibo mod 737, nothing can’t be clicked or used. It’s as if the aircraft is frozen in a fixed state. Any help?

Jason in the Zibo mod How can I assign to disengage the AP? Do I have to do it manually before I land this wastes time and unnecessary scene change? Also after landing, if I get a sign I blew Tires what does that mean and how to avoid that. Thank You.

I tried to download the zibo mod from the zibo mod page but it won't let me download. When I put my cursor over the "B737-800X" with the little folder icon on the left nothing happens. It won't show the download arrow. Any help will be appreciated.

The problem is when I’m putting power it’s nothing happening and in INDEX I can’t write for example EPKK I was watching every tutorial and even then it’s working so please help me and I’m not alone with that problem because when I reading comments in another videos they have the same problem so can you make a video how to fix it or just write me below. Again pleas please help me!

you actually didn't install it right (see how you still get the old tablet in your flightdeck). always go for the latest full release instead of the 737 folder and install all hotfixes that came after that release one by one in the right order. when you check the zibo google drive you'll see that folder has been last updated in august 2. sorry to rain on your parade, but I hope the info helps :)

Not a chance of download it at any time or day and a lot of complains about that here. IMHO moving from that server should also prevent a drop of donations

So , I've done everything that was done in this video , Opened up X-Plane 11 and the 737 isn't there , I'm using a DVD Version , Anybody know how to fix this?

none of this works anymore, google drive says need permissions.... very old video.... will try to find someone with an updated process..

The 738X shows up on x-plane and I can fly it. I installed the latest version and it’s updated. The only issues I have are that the doors won’t open, only the cabin door. Also avitab won’t work on certain tabs like the top two in the middle (terminate Flight leg and start service crews).Also in a few tabs, options like opening the doors, calling the gas truck, and stairs won’t work. If anyone could help me with these issues it would be much appreciated

Hi jason. I fly the 737 zibo for a while. But since the version 3.29, i got some nosewheel troobles. I can not turn the wheel to its extremes. It turn only at the half. Any idea?

Something wrong here. If first time installing Zibo Mod, use the default method: X-Plane 11/Aircraft/Laminar Research...right-click copy the default B737-800 Paste on Desktop Download the "_3_33_full" zip from Google Drive. This is the latest everything update. Create a Desktop folder named Zibo(or anything one chooses) Extract _3_33_ into Zibo Open Zibo. Copy & Paste every file into desktop B737-800 Rename to B737-800X. Copy & Paste in Aircraft. Start X-Plane. In Main Menu. Settings. Check 'use experimental aircraft' Load the B737-800X. Will have choice of 2k or 4k texture resolution iarcraft. Done deal. No need to delete any .acf or any file, like other RU-vid videos claim. For a defective 800X file, missing airfoils and so on, is because the full zip wasn't installed and so no way will ever load. Delete the bad file and redo from scratch with the Laminar folder. The _3_33_ is the only Zibo Mod file required. New updates must have the full mod already installed, and just follow the instructions.

I have downloaded the B737-800x-3-34-full and placed the folder B737-800x into my airplane folder several time with no luck. Help??????????
