As a panther fan ,Montour was my favorite D right alongside with Forsling .Wish him well in Seattle ! I’m glad that FL didn’t pay him that much $ though ,I know ZITO will find replacement .Also funny to see those other teams fans chirping how panthers won’t repeat :)…watch out ,we ain’t going anywhere ,we are going back to finals ☝🏻😎🐆

This conversation was weird. There's an implication that Montour's contract was an indication that teams were spending a lot. Seriously? Montour is a right, who just won a cup. That should be worth a couple million right there. He's a top pairing guy. That should be worth 6-7. He signed unexpectedly low. Maybe it was to get an extra year or two that teams probably didn't want to do. Still it was low.
