Locust god is one of my favorite cards, and a typical commander that I use when playing with my friends. I love this deck and wished I played pioneer to try it!

OK, here's my idea about MtG formats: Rename Pioneer to MODERN. Rename Modern to 21st Century (or..?). Expand 21stC to include Mercadian Masques and onward. (yes, MM itself came out in 1999, I know) This makes all sets with NO CARDS ON THE RESERVE LIST in what is now "Modern", and new Modern (Pioneer) becomes ACTUALLY "Modern", like as in RECENT, more available cards.

Too much Pioneer content, not enough Modern and Legacy content. There is no need to release 2-3 videos of jank Pioneer decks every day.

Pioneer is new, which gains views. Pioneer is unsolved, which gives credibility to many decks and their abilities, which gains views. And the matchups possible are not as commonly known, which gains views. All three of these are not really very true of either Modern or Legacy. Since they are currently more stale, we have some fresher content. Don’t worry, you’ll get your itch scratched again, but in the meantime, try not to hate too much.
