@@BeyondThePot I also didn't realize that we could use the air fry basket during the pressure cooking phase. I'm trying this recipe in about an hour from now.
I'm getting my first instapot ever on Wednesday (it's Saturday now). It's actually the Instapot Duo Crisp and I'm doing this recipe first! Great personality and energy in your video.
Growing up my mom would make meatballs for parties which was 1:1 grape jelly:bbq sauce. Still very popular and delicious over rice. Your sauce looks super elevated. I’m inspired to play with the her old recipe!
All I can say is THANK YOU. This recipe is so so good. Me and my wife have it every Wednesday. I've gone as far as doubling the recipe to make a 5lb batch of wings. You have a lucky family.
LISTEN THAT SAUCE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY I JUST WANTED TO EAT IT ON MY RICE ON MY BROCCOLI ON MY WINGS!!!! It was soooooooo good! Thank you for sharing!!! Who would have thought that would taste so good...I would love more instant pot recipes. Just bought one and this was my first recipe. They turned out perfect. Zero leftover :))
Chef, I loved the "proof of crispiness" test! Nobody can fake the crunch in the wing when you bit into it. Marvelous! Sister, we must have learned to cook from the same kitchen fairy. I don't measure either and my friends think I'm holding out on them with my recipes of"a little of this and a pinch of that". I subscribed and hope to see all your videos asap. Bless!
received an instant pot from my mom not long ago and finally decided to give it a try. tried this recipe and LOVED it! thank you for sharing your experience! copied step by step...yum
In all of my many years of cooking chicken all sorts of ways, never was grape jelly one of the ingredients! Now I'm dying to try your secret sauce recipe!!!
These are delicious and brilliant! I improvised with what I had and it was still perfect…strawberry jelly instead of grape, Worcestershire instead of soy sauce, date syrup instead of honey, sautéed instead of air fried (don’t have an air fryer) My husband raved about these so they’re going to be a regular on our menu. I love how you eyeball the ingredients instead of a set amount. My only request now is could you do a lemon pepper wings? I’ll be in line waiting for your cookbook! Thanks again!
This is my go to for wing, I do use parchment paper found on Amazon and spray with olive oil before I air fry and the non stick crispiest clean up ever
I am curious what the jelly does to the taste, it all looks so delicious I wish I had some right now! I am planning on experimenting to see if I prefer the instant pot over the Crock pot! Thanks for an amazing video! I need to make 4-6 pounds of wings for a get together any suggestions, should I cook half at a time or everything together at the same time?
I'm in Ontario, Canada, and my mom loves grape jelly and back sandwiches on a croissant. You only need a dab, but it's good. I'm going to try this. I don't have the built-in fryer, but I'll do them in my air fryer.
Wings look delicious 😋 Where did you get the basket. I just bought me a pressure cooker for Christmas and need that basket. Mine is a small 6 or 8 qt tho. I have a air fryer separate
Wow! These wings look so good.I really don’t wanna do the Picken. But I really wanna a peace of that chicken .... Hold a plate I will not be late ..Ummmmm!!! Daddy Love you ! B
I put the instant pot on pressure cook...there isn't an option for seal or vent on this particular machine. I did seal the lid....I hope this answers your question.
@@BeyondThePot can you link your instantpot or whatever the lid is you used can you do the same with any instantpot along with that lid or is it a specific instantpot ?
The non stick basket comes with the instant put duo crisp air fryer. If you are looking for a non-stick basket for your air fryer here is a link to one amzn.to/35wPtVO and there is also a link at the top of the comments if you want your own instant pot duo crisp air fryer. Thanks For Watching!!
I caught the 6 qt on a black Friday sale for 73 bucks and couldn't pass that up. Love my new toy and can't wait to get some wings going. I have a 8 qt lux that I will use for those big meals...lol
Great Demo.If your taste gd , just imagine using different season. Go to a Caribbean muslim or Indian store and get their seasoning. Try it and let me know.Even the Paprika is so much better...or if you have a Home Goids , Tj max look for the season in the food area from small business sooo much better. Adobe has no flavour in my opion... But again , I use farm chicken that in itself taste way different.
