I love the watch. Use it for hiking and it does the job perfectly. I also like the bulky style. I've had a couple of Apple watches but I switched to Garmin. My son and my nephew are both in the military and they both used there watches on missions with harsh conditions. If they are convinced that Garmin make excellent smart watches it will work for me. And it does it with an incredibly good battery life, certainly in comparison with an Apple Watch.

Es el mejer reloj que he tenido. La presicion del GPS, los datos, los materiales, la pantalla, etc, todo es de una gran calidad. Hasta que no lo usas te das cuenta del rejo premium que traes. Recomendado al 100%. Yo lo uso para correr y para usar en el día día. No tiene comparacion con Apple watch, creeame que mejor gasto en un rejo Garmin que en una apple watch, aun que sea el ultra, el mejor es Garmin instinc 2x. Lo amo.

Same in Czech Republic. Apparently there's been a supply issue (so I'm assuming this affects most of Europe). The specific store where I'm buying already has some colors arriving next week and others should be available "in May".

What is the life span of the instinct 2x solar in years? And is the battery replaceble?

Thank you for your question. While we cannot provide a hard number of charge cycles that the battery will last, the Instinct 2X Solar has an advantage over other devices with its long battery life between charges. Therefore, it has the potential lifespan of years, based on usage and how often you charge it. The battery is not replaceable.

Incorrect. Running and cycling against traffic is illegal in most jurisdictions, and also one of the stupidest widely used recommendations out there. Ever notice how when you are pulling right, out of a driveway or street, and you are primarily looking to the left at oncoming traffic, whilst occasionally looking to the right? Then when your window of opportunity happens, you pull out and strike the idiot (on your right) who was running/riding against traffic? Yeah, stupid idea. Stupid idea to recommend that people go against traffic, as if that is somehow safer.

@@HarryKuloh nobody said anything about cycling, keep up at the back there homie. Moving on foot against traffic (walking/running) if there's no pavement aka sidewalk is what people in most countries are told to do, for a very simple reason - you want to always have a good view of the traffic in lane that you're in, in case you need to avoid that traffic.

The saying is "Ride (bicycles) with traffic...walk/run against it." for two simple reasons: 1) So "riders" can obey the same basic traffic laws as automobiles. 2) Those that are walking/running are able to see what's coming towards them, for any last minute/emergency adjustments to oncoming traffic. And furthermore, in your example above of a runner approaching your car from your right...pedestrians have the "right of way". So if you happen to hit one of those "idiots" , as you described them, it will almost assuredly be your negligence that caused it.@@HarryKuloh

sounds more like junk toy for the rich. i just need a watch, with a second hand. no battery required just wind it up or auto wind. rugged. water proof. shock and dust proof. and affordable..
