Thanks so much for this video/tutorial! This morning, my regular Instyler completely came apart- the top of the barrel so that I could see everything on the inside! It was very scary!😱 But, I, too cannot live without my Instyler! So, it looks like I’m getting another- ASAP! Thanks again! Your hair is gorgeous, you are beautiful! How about the bristles between the two are they the same or is one ceramic? The original instyler had nylon bristles.

you know they have a max professional model that has a chip in it that keeps the heat from fluctuating and also has a 9 inch cord vs 6. i ordered it n they sent me the standard. ugg it is only about 20 bucks more than the standard max. can't wait to try the wet to dry max.

When curling the hair inward it works better if the barrel is facing inward as well.

I like the original but my only concern is the brush, i have 2 instylers already and the brush is something I hate. i want to try the max, the brush seems different from the original.

The max isn't the 'wet 2 dry' one. I personally wouldn't recommend using heat on damp/wet hair. Try to only use heat when your hair is completely dry to prevent damage :)

Shivani Tewari No, turn it off after you're done styling. Make sure to use the heat pad to protect any surfaces that you lay it down on.

Hi! Yes, it does straighten hair but I find that it’s not as effective as some of my other straighteners. It still does the job well but I like my hair to be pin straight and I find that the InStyler leaves my hair a bit frizzy/puffy when I try to straighten. Hope this helps!

Hope you know that heat protectors don't really protect from heat. It is not possible. It's a marketing hack. So these products are mere styling liquids. You can google it yourself. The review is great though! Thank you!

Laura Jii I have the first Instyler and it tells you to try not to use any hair products before using your Instyler just shampoo and conditioner but it says if it's really dry you can use a very small amount of product on the ends. I love my Instyler I'll get the newer one when this breaks down but I've had it years and it's still ok I might have a long wait lol.

The main thing to look for is alcohol (it has different names but all same) if it’s the 1st-3rd ingredient do not use it!
