Insurgency Sandstorm deserves Better... 

The one shooter that's actually balanced but each team has noticable differences and isn't boring

even though this game only gets an average of 3000 daily users. it has an extremely loyal community, everyone who likes insurgency, LOVES insurgency. This is why the devs still update the game to this day. thank you for continuously giving this game more recognition, more people playing= bigger and better updates.

Insurgency has such a niche cult following, it’s honestly a great game and I don’t mind the small player base on Xbox, not to mention this is the only game that gets the Kriss Vectors recoil pattern right

One of the most satisfying shooters out there if only there was a little more content regularly available. I do love it.

Last light is one of the favorite maps in the game for me. I remember playing it a lot before the update when it was just a modded map. Not something people usually think about in Insurgency but this map is kinda beautiful

Me and my friends played insurgency back in February and it scared them away, since they’re too used to arcade shooters like COD 🙄

Me and my friends still play this game so very often on console it’s so good. The gun play is so good it’s such a satisfying game. Much better than cod or battlefield I would say personally since I appreciate realistic shooters that require strategy and communication. It feels so much more rewarding

Technically, Insurgency Sandstorm is basically Insurgency 3. The first Insurgency was called Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat, a community mod for the Source engine. And then NWI remade the game into Insurgency. And then after the massive success from Insurgency, they made Sandstorm.

This is by far one of the best map they added into the game, and the prettiest looking too. They definitely took time with this one and it shows. I just wished they either hired more people or somehow pour more resources to put out more content because there's simply no other game like insurgency sandstorm. I fucking love this game but I've already spent 1000 hours on the same maps, guns and gamemodes. I do hope that the reason they been drop feeding us is because they are working on sandstorm 2

What i love about Insurgency is that you don't have to grind so much for certain weapons and equipment. You just have points to spend. Like Counter Strike.

I wish this game got more recognition, but I'm glad it is still kind of underground. Won't get ruined like Call of Duty.

After finding this game on ps4 ive been playing it basically non stop, never going back to battlefield, i swear sometimes this game is so intense that i forget i am playing a video game

You should try Rising Storm 2, it has a big community and its very fun

With tarkov, you could always try SPT (single player tarkov). You do have to have a legitimate copy of EFT, and it's kinda difficult to set up (at least for me it was because the automatic install didn't work) but it is fun. Also, the devs don't like it much at all but whatever.

Yeah man, I feel the same. This game is awesome, I play it on PC but it doesn't have a large playerbase. Still, one of the best shooters out there.

I play this game often. Since it came out on Xbox. I just with they had more maps. They have quite a few. But I seen some PC Sandstorm maps that look so fun

Maybe if they actually improved the game, didn't go further and further away from what it was supposed to be, and made actual good content/updates that weren't just mods that have been available for well over a year or more that they somehow took nearly a year to officially add to the game...

One thing you gotta do in Insurgency is trust yourself. Constant reloads after kills are actually a bad thing. Splits your bullets between more mags, so your overall ability to lay down fire is reduced. Eventually you'll have five mags with 15-20 rounds, when instead you could have two or three full mags. Much better. Second, double tap that reload button. Once you're done with a mag, it's useless. Just dead weight. Toss it. You'll move faster, aim quicker, and be quieter. Plus, much faster reload times. Doing those things really does elevate your gameplay just a bit above what you were before. It's a small, but very noticable uptick in kills and survivability.

I feel like the main thing holding Sandstorm back is the controls. Sadly you can just about feel that it isn't a AAA game, which doesn't bother me personally but in a time where everyone is used to seemless controls many people hesitate to play this game for longer which is when you stop noticing the average controls. Thanks for playing it thougj Tbag, always having a blast watching you play Sandstorm PS.: You still haven't ranked every operation in Bf1...

Its a great game, played it quite a bit. Not many updates or anything to work towards.. Since MW2 I havnt been back to it which sucks that I choose that over this good game. It needs something to make you want to play more I guess. Even the points to unlock skins and stuff takes so damn long. Like 30 games just to get enough points to buy something decent. Game has a lot of potential to be the best for sure.

Is it really forgotten? I mean it was released on consoles relatively recently (around a year ago?), so more and more people are getting into Sandstorm daily. Reddit is alive, and even on PS it finds lobbies super-fast without crossplay or subscription giveaway, like on XGP. Game is pretty alive for such niche genre and I'm really happy about it.

I didn't forget about it. I'm addicted to dmz.

Hey there all if your on pc you need to get on the public servers and try out ismc custom servers it adds a ton of content and experience enhancements(if you only play pvp this is mainly a pve thing from the servers I play on though there are pvp servers forsure)

TBAG, try giving Squad a try. It's a tactical team based FPS that you might like. Similar to Arma but not as complex as Arma.

For real, just started playing Sandstorm again and brother it's just one of the best feeling shooter out there, period. This game needs to be in a regular rotation for every semi hardcore shooter fan. Buuut of course I just wish the content would come more regular or the just release a Insurgency 2 thats less limited in terms of being only Middle Eastern oriented. We need something new in there.
