@@GOLDK9 NWI was bought by Embracer Group and all the original devs were fired. It's still playable while people keep buying cosmetic items, but all the upkeep is done by some random "game studio for hire" type of thing.
The voice acting in this game is so good. Honestly one of my favorite parts. Ill be shooting 1 ai guy and hittin that "Enemy Down" on the wheel every time.
The devs not supporting this game is a shame but what's an ever bigger shame is that no other developers are keen on making a game like this. Sandstorm has such a nice balance between arcade and realism.
@blxxns yeah onward doesnt hit the same. doesnt have nearly the same effects, enemy npc hit reaction, or an active playerbase on top of a myriad of other issues
Your kidding?!?! This looks amazing, not to mention one of the most real looking vr shooters out there, hoping this comes to psvr 2 because this would 100& rival monsters like Pavlov, hell even blow out of the water!
Sorry boss man, but this is a mod that adds VR for Insurgency Sandstorm which is originally for PC and has a port for it on Xbox! As it stands, the support of this game is nearly dead. The mods available for it on PC are fun, making the PVE extremely hectic and brutal along with a huger variety of maps. The Xbox doesn’t have mod support iirc
I was talking more on the PS side of things as the PS5 has a VR headset (the PSVR2) which is one of the best vr headsets on the market right now and it's created by sony. I would just love to play the game with haptic feedback and eye controls. Maybe if we send this to sony or NWI they might consider it as Sony is in need of PSV@ titles right now.
Didnt know this was possible. Its like we either need another insurgency or more content for the game. Something like this shouldnt just turn into a relic of the past especially with how fps games are now. Awesome video bro
When I found this game I got addicted so fast lol it’s great and one of the most realistic games I played..the bots are smart once in awhile but that smartness might be a bug lol but I’m hoping and wishing this game gets a PlayStation Vr2 instalment
Anyone here who has been in fire fights and both watch and or play this game like this, what is it like and does it remind you of those moments in any way? Honestly rather interesting in hearing this.
@TheFirestorm214 I thought the bots teamwork looked all wierd. Thank you for clarifying it looks sick. Probably too hard to aim in vr to do hardcore anyways
@@ninj333 yea the bots are dumb, they will throw grenades 10-15 feet in front of them and then run near it, and yea it is hard to aim because you are only using one controller to aim, and lining up a shot with a mosin is very hard.
If VR didn't make me look gay and hurt my eyes it'd be cool. Every time I strap that brick on and try a game I'm just disappointed and look like such a homosexual while wearing it. Gimmick tech, needs 20 years more development.
