Thanks Brian, great video, it takes hours to make an iso with all the updates but well worth it, I had Windows installed in no time! Cool....gone are the days of sitting for hours while the updates install....thanks again.
Oh man! I wish i saw your tutorials before I went through my headaches the last month. I've had to install/reinstall 8.1 RTM about 20 times in the last 3 weeks. I just watched your vid about wintoolkit and currently buildin my custom install with these updates. Thanks for takin the time out and doin these vids!
Wish I had did this before I did a reinstall of Windows 7 recently. I saw your other video on how to download the updates manually. Very useful technique!!
Great Video. Thank you. But I have a question... Do I have to sort the updates by date, so the old update won't write over the new one? Or the Windows ToolKit is smart enough?
Does wintoolkit populate the updates list you can download for your machine just like windows updater does. Or does it populate a list with all updates regardless appropriate for your hardware or not? Does wintoolkit also let you exclude any updates from installing? Say you want to slipstream the USB3 drivers for a non-sp1 win7 build, will these drivers take effect immediately during setup so you can install from your usb3 port + usb3 stick?
Hi Can you show how can we select the hot-fixes & patches and download on a machine later we can use these patches & hot-fixes to update other PC's. Thank you
I have Windows 7 on a dell PC and I have Windows 10 on an Hp PC both are 64 bit. I need to install Windows 7 service pack 1 onto Windows 10 so that I can run a game in compatibility mode. I can not find the service pack file anywhere, and I would prefer to do it by command prompt I do not want to catch a virus. Do you know how to get an installable Windows 7 service pack 1 file from my Dell machine and and then install it on my Windows 10 machine. Please make a video on it. Thank you so much.
I get this msg saying Neither KUC or McRip update servers seem to be active. This error will also occur is *you have no net connection *You are behind a prosy server *The servers are offline
mr britec i need some answers 1.in the status under integrated tab it was showing "install pending" for all of the updates.does that mean there is something wrong with the integration? 2.in the same integrated tab it was showing some drivers and themes.so the updates we have integrated has updated some theme files and drivers?
Just use dism, for windows 7 get the april 2016 patch, and the rollup update then use AIK to build the iso and rufus to stick it on usb. It will also help those who crush their brand new win 7 installs lol, because it wont update from standard dvd sp1 anymore - due to new update software, using slipstream prevents this issue from happening.
have a question! I have win 7 on flash drive, and it has those folders like sources. If i add all updates just to that folder (using toolkit of course) will it work? i do not need iso.
hi, i have 4 sony vaio vpcf2'2 and there recovery disc are 4 to 5 disc. what i would like to is how to do a stand alown disc for all windows updates for windows 7? this is because if you do a recovery on windows 10 it unjustifiably remove all of my sony software, whitch means i have to go all the way back to windows 7 and update everything before putting that discriminating windows 10 phone crap on my laptops! i want to keep my backlit keyboard, i want to keep my short cut buttons! on one laptop allown i'm on the 16th instalment! please do a post if possible on making just an update disc! my mind is that of a child and trying to work out how to do all of this with a 5 disc recovery is just too much!
Not sure if anyone will answer after all this time. I generally found that any new Windows 7 SP1 install needs 140 important updates about 62 optional. Using this software shows there are 615 updates available, well beyond what i need. Will i be installing unneeded crap onto any system that i use this for or is the windows installer smart enough to know what it needs and installs only what it needs? Thanks for any advice
got a question here... if i do what you show here- will that "install" those updates there, or just put "downloaded update files" so system can find them later and so i do not have to use update option and use internet, but will still have to do something manually?
With a slipstreamed INSTALL disk, it will install the updates AS its installing, so only the latest file versions are installed, at this time for windows 7 that is april 2016, from lots of testing the results are FAR more stable machines, but it depends what you use to make the slipstreams and what you put inside them. the last part is down to usb install, uefi install changed the game, its no longer plug and pray, its more like click nation, there it just works lol.
after adding some updates to an iso as shown in the video, i get an error saying: "Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation." after the initial install, after the first reboot, it pops up over the "installing windows" screen with copying/expanding files, etc.
You Just saved me 2 days of work from usin Rt7 lite wich is anoying slow and sometime after 2 hours of runnin get a critical error and no I do have a decent computer 4.5 ghz fx 6300 Oced and 8gb 2133MHZ memory and 2 1 TB Wester digital black HDD in Raid 0 so is fairly powered .... yes yes will buy and ssd soon Thank a lot !!
You can slipstream the updated raid and other drivers into the install as well. BUT WARNING: READ the manufacturers update driver software carefully, if it requires a later update - dont slipstream that driver! it will cause the install to fail as its missing a driver, or simply at that point click and have disk..
hi there, thanks for good tips. i just want to ask, normally when we install the new win7, after install, we need run the windows update and it may cost me a lot of time. do we have any option like download the windows update and burn into the CD. so, it my save my time to do the windows update. please advice. do you have win7 32 bit update?? please help to share out how to do that. thanks and hope to hear from you soon!!!
If anyone wants to do the same thing for xp use nLite. Personally I have an xp copy with all the updates and when I want to update a new/non-updated installation I just copy all the files from the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download into the exact same folder in the new pc. It will "fake" the download/install process because the files are there. To Britec: How can I add other files in here pls? Like Adobe reader or Winrar for example? Thanks as always for these useful techniques.
hi there! can i ask you how to make a win7 dvd with all the software i have already installed on my pc .for example office photoshop, autocad etc... thanks in advance.
You would need to make a disk clone instead. Whilst its technically possible to slipstream such no one does because you could be left spending hours selecting "have disk" - drivers for intel LAN and the chipset however are fine.
So if I wanted to pre-load Office Suite and Adobe Suite, and and Corel Draw, integrate / slipstreams these Full Application, this is possible with Program?
when i pressing to update catalog it is saying your server is off but my internet is working it is showing kuc and mcrip update server seem to be active please help.
Great Video!!!!! now can you create a Video on integrate / slipstreams of Software/ Applications into a ISO like what you seen in you buy a PC and or Laptop from a store, and the Software/ Applications are pre-installed, I like to know how to create a ISO will all the Software/ Applications I need integrate / slipstreams into the ISO, Can this be done, if now How??
If you have windows 7 ultimate you will be able to download the windows 7 ultimate iso from microsoft directly. Once you have the iso - you simply use winrar to extract it and use dism to see which bits are inside usually index 1 = enterprise index 2 = homebasic index 4 = ultimate select the index u want to slipstream
I just got done running a Malwarebytes scan and it just had me quarantine about 33 instances of ad and tracker ware. I should've known when it asked me to register for a forum to download the software. The software puts Donut Leads on your computer, which is pretty hard to get off. Fortunately, I'm running IE 11 which isn't easy to kill or hijack, so, I don't think they have an add-on that can do it, yet. Better to steer clear of this and use legit methods of doing this.
TheGreenMachine - I don't know about 1.5.3.10, but the current version is 1.5.3.21. Run it, and in the main window, there are tabs: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and UPDATES. Updates ... Alphawaves Downloader. Rest is pretty much the same as in the video.
