Why is it that the process of the whole integration has a part of a drivative and the second part as an integral? U=x and then drivative of x is 1. But in the second part v is equal to integration of e to the x whcih is e to the x. If we want to be consistent then x also should be integrated and become x^2/2. What am I missing?

when it comes to choosing your "u" you can use "LIATE" to know what to prioritize L-ogarithmic function I-nverse trig function A-lgebraic function T-rigonometric function E-xponential function

For the problem at 22:30, you could also use u-substitution to make u = lnx and du = l/xdx. Then, the integral would just be u squared du and the antiderivative would be (u cubed over 3) + C. By back substitution, you would get (lnx cubed over 3) plus C. This is just a quicker way to do the problem for time constraints on a test.

Am I the only person who shut off their brain on the question integral of (e^xsinx)dx? I ended up in a loop and went on integrating it 5 times, before realizing smth was srsly wrong.... I then clicked unpause, and realized, Im an idiot.

Lol i when i integrated it and got e^xcosx, and i integrated it again i knew i will end up in loop like this so i checked the lhs and rhs qnd just noticed i could move the integral to left and divide by 2, it feels kind of bizarre because youre not used to do so while integrating 😂

there is a method called ("Tabular Scheme"), it is far less time-consuming and easier to solve IBP problems with. However, it has its limitations.
