I run i7 on 1156 socket. I also upgraded graphics to 1660ti about year ago. I wanna buy bundle from pc shop with this cpu. Will my graphics card be ok with it ? I just wanna browse internet and go some picture editing from time to time

I have it with a 4060. I can't find a game or setting that puts any stress on it at all. 4060 is maxed out at all times with the cpu barely working at all lol

nice video, this was the one I help me to build my machine. my unit: - -Asus ProArt Z690-CREATOR WIFI ATX LGA1700 -be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler -Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2T M.2-2280 -32GB G.Skill DDR5 Trident Z5 6000MHz CL40 1.35V Dual Channel -Segotep 850W Gaming ATX 3.0 Power Supply -nvidia GE Force 3070ti I used a cheap case that had no reset (Phanteks (PH-EC360ATG_DBK01) Eclipse P360A, Mid-Tower case black) and fans maxed with 2 fans on top case 2 on my cpu cooler 2 in front case and one in back,,,I got a damn win tunnel in my case and literally cool. No issues so far thankfully.

Is there any real benefit with going with the K model that has the integrated graphics? I have a 4090 already and Ive been hearing there's some benefit but I dont see it if you already have a GPU

There can be some benefits when it comes to additional options for encoding using the Intel Quick Sync but besides that there's also the additional fall back for troubleshooting using integrated graphics if you're having display issues.

Quick tech question, I bought the 13700kf and an MSI MAG Tomahawk z690 ddr4 motherboard. In order to support the 13 gen I know I need to update/flash bios before assembly. My question is, do I just go and update based on the most recent bios release or do I use the comparability update for the 13700kf processor on that tab? Or do I need to do both? And if so, what order?

Hey that's the same set up I have! 13700kf on an Asrock Pro mobo wifi plus a Nvidia RTX 3080 FE 10gb, 32gb Corsair Dominator 6000 mHz Intel XMP. i150 icue 360 IO by Corsaid and a 2tb Samsung 980 PRO ssd nvme.

i5 13600k vs i7 13700 (non-k) help i cant decide.. Which CPU performs better in gaming? is the 13700 non-k faster than the 13600k? and if so, how much? and is the 13700 more future proof with the extra 2 cores? i've also seen that the 13700 consumes less wattage? so less wattage and more powerful than the 13600k, for the same money?? if thats the case, well then thats a win win? Where im from, they cost the same...

It all depends on what you use your build for and what your gpu is for example if you have an 3060ti or 3070 15 13600k is very good and more than enough and if you have an 4070ti or an 4080 the i7 13700k would be the sweet spot and that (K) is just for overclocking so the (non k) version can’t be overclocked

Personally it’s worth it if you go ahead and get the KF. ESPECIALLY if you’re running background applications constantly depending on your graphics card. You also have some extra wiggle room if you ever want to get into any type of content production.

If you're going for a GPU too then there's no harm in going for the KF and saving a bit of money if you won't need the iGPU 👍

No. There is a difference in the clock speeds as well for Performance & Efficiency Cores.

@@Trismq Performance of 13700K is slightly higher but so is the Heat & Power Draw. However the 13700KF is not much behind so it's not going to be much of a loss if you choose it.

One youtube recomendation, the chapters are bad created, the first chapter must be 0:00 and never one higher. With a higher value, you can see the key moments in the description but.........no in the video time line.

I'm running the i7-13700kf with a 4070 and 32 gb ddr5. I'm loving it. Running cyberpunk on ultra with ray tracing and it doesn't even break a sweat.

I really wouldn't say its the sweet spot as the 13600k is. The 13700k for 100$ is bothering people and i fully understand why

Depending on your use case and if you can utilise the 13700K in non gaming tasks it can be a strong in-between before the 13900K with it's lesser power efficiency and thermals but yes the 13600K would still be a pretty worth while option for similar uses to the 13700K.
