I have been a daily viewer for about a year, 3 days a week is too little, the NCIX business is obviously going downhill & I wish they would'nt take this show, with 1M+ subs down with them 2 Firings in a fortnight, Esther never returned either so that's 3/5 of the crew fired I would rather Jack & Keys take ownership of the channel and take it away from NCIX

LMG has derived from NCIX Tech Tips when he was working here his boss suggested to make his own channel too. He worked on both channels simontaneously. He later quit from here and continued with LMG and it's kicked of pretty quit.

i used to watch linus since the early days of ncix, its just that LMG atm doesnt have any important information in their videos and netlinked daily is a good source for fast tech news, if they joined LMG they will end up with bad videos like LMG these days.

Honestly, I'd love to play more Xbox games on the PC. Even as a PC player, I can admit consoles get a lot of awesome exclusives. What I don't like, is having to open the bullshit Windows store and play on the worst PC eco-system on the platform. Just fucking partner with Steam, Origin, or Blizzard and get your shit out that way.

"Holograms" are imagery made with a process called holography invented by Dénes Gábor, by which you "print" a 3D image on a flat plane. In that sense the word hologram is much more accurate for this phone display. What we generally call holograms in science fiction are some manner of volumetric displays, but not actual holograms.

Certain games will benefit greatly from cross platform multiplayer. But I feel like the more technical games are tuned totally differently between console and PC, that it would be very difficult to merge the two. Also, with aim assist comes quickscoping and other liberties with the mechanics. Something to think about when going cross-platform.

Holograms have technically always meant what RED is calling them, what people call holograms are technically "volumetric images". But I think "hologram" sounds cooler and should be applied to the cooler thing.

A holographic display follows with the definition of a hologram, which is a 3d image projected onto a 2d plane, so the 3d looking image is within the plane. Calling the stuff in Star wars holograms is actually incorrect, the correct term for something that projects out of the device would be a volumetric display. Anything that's a hologram is by definition confined to the plane of the device screen.

Destiny 2s aim assis was super BS atleast in the beta on pc, basically made it so kbd/mouse people were vs aimbotters in pvp. There were vids of poeple using controller and aiming in a general direction of a player then scoping and instantly snapping to there head. WTF.
