@@randomperson8332 so theres two teams of 2 and theres a net and a bouncy rubber ball. The goal is to hit the ball so it bounces off the net and it hits the ground. If the ball touches the ground whoever let it hit the ground loses the point. after the ball hits the net it transfers the ball to the otehr team so now they have to bounce it off of the net again. With its setting and spiking system its similar to volleyball and it also has a limited amount of times you can touch it and if you touch it then your teammate has to touch for you to be able to hit it again.
For anyone wondering: spikeball played usually with teams of two. Each team has three touches to get the ball to hit the net, and can only hit the net once. If hit too lightly and double bounces, it doesn’t count. Basically volleyball but instead of getting it over the net in three touches, you’re using the net as the target. No interferences and there are some other rules. Popular in colleges and any outdoor sport friendly state in the US. Not sure how far it’s reached internationally but it’s been around maybe for 8 years or so. Playing it at the beach is super fun too cuz sand is hard as hell to run in but you can loosen the net so the ball doesn’t bounce as far. Quite a lot of control and the perfect lawn game
Am I the only one noticing all these "new or maybe old" games I've never heard of or seen all the sudden pop up in the last couple of years. What's up are we in a sports renaissance movement or something? This looks like an x game renovation of the old four square played back in the day.
It’s not sports Renaissance, it’s just social media has gotten more powerful than ever, and more people than ever have phones, and more people than ever are taking random short videos of things with the newer generations growing older. People have always played these games, but now people are filming everything they see and uploading them to social media so the rest of the world gets to easily see them
Well I'm am extremely grateful for your this new technology. Although it can be intrusive and misleading at times for the most part it continues to be educational and an avenue for people to connect in ways never done before with people that would never have been able to meet or even known each other existed before. It's like a way for everyone to get a lil closer with each other on a more personal level. Now if we could find away to keep the trolls and fake news off of it that would be splendid. @@alexmarlow2508

I used to live near a uni campus and our neighbours were a bunch of frats. 6 out 7 days of the week during the summer they would all be drinking, shirtless, playing this game
