Chase Budinger is such a well-rounded athlete. How many people play professional ball then switch back into volleyball and go pro in that at the age of 31 still. Not just pro but Olympic status... With that talent, he can probably go pro in so many other sports like spikeball if he wanted

Cody Zook yes I understand, but at the same time everyone who watched this that doesn’t know roundnet are saying, “these volleyball players are just as good as the roundnet players”. Which is extremely false. I get the publicity stunt though! Makes sense... more rallies, more excitement.

Pretty sure it would be worse the other way around. Spikeball requires a lot of touch but pro volleyball requires a lot more power. Taking a full spike from a pro, I'm 99% they wouldn't be able to return it.

As a beach volleyball player, Spikeball at this level looks pretty challenging to me. Having that much control with one hand requires great touch and technique. Which is not to say vb is easy - it's just more important to be an athlete.

Is there a rule to prevent hitting backwards? Because any time a teammate passes towards the middle of the net and the next hitter can hit it any direction they can just hit it opposite of the other team
