@@kanna5116 Yup it hurt my butt, while my team won the war by my sacrificed. It should get comeback but nope... Comeback is not real. Then after the game, I grab my vodoo doll, write my teammates nickname and then.... *Its secret*
You are not alone my friend. Almost anyone who has half a brain to know the situation of a possible epic comeback says this. Sadly not all listen. This is why I mostly play heros who have strong basic attacks.
Yep. I am still in epic. And picked cyclops a lot even though he will get crushed in the early game. It is really hard that I wish my teammates would give me space until I got fully build.
@@josiahlee4200 i guess that is a good counter, but considering the enemy's yin is super good, hanabi is probably gonna get melted to 1 hp before she enables wind chant
If you got no tank to properly use, I personally recommend Esmeralda because not only she is very thicc ;), but she can also be versatile even with the countless nerfs she got. Building her with dominance ice plus oracle will make her tank so hard while also dealing a decent amount of damage especially to close combat fighters. Overall, she can be a durable tank, a mobile roamer, or a damage-dealing mage.
Just noticd how yin was ignoring esme all the game long although she was the biggest threat for ennemies,he knew that it's an ult wasted and he could never ever kill esme . The point is when you're facing a yin you should pick durable heroes( mostly preferred fighters) or heroes that have a free purify skill or have great mobility.

@@nothmm8582 except purify has longer cooldown, zilong's ult is not immuning stun, wanwan's 2nd + passive doesn't travel far enough, valir will still die from the damage
@@nothmm8582 trust me my counter is flicker...the moment he takes you in his world be ready to instantly flicker and get away...there is a moment between Yin using his skill in the ultimate and at that time we can flicker....I've beaten Yin by using bane lol
As a mage player. It always pains me to see no antiheal on any mage while they see heroes like Esme, Balmond, Yin or anyone who heals, spell vamps, or shields a lot. And because of that, I'm ranked top 8 in my State with Chang'e, 15 with Yve, 18 with Val, and 58 with Vex. Let this video be a lesson to you mage players out there. Rotating and buying antiheal can sway the game most of the times...depending on the mage you play
i loved the feeling when there is a nana in the enemy team that tries to bully you, then somewhere later in the game, youre the one bullying her, especially once the duration of her passive is gone. the hunter becomes the hunted.
nanac an bee a pain in ass if u build cd reduction item and icequeen one...late game she can spam 2nd skill and ulti which distrupts enemies by a lot and can easily also clear lane likwe change
Im nana main. I could make a comeback and winrate 64%. Agree with them being annoying but she still a good mage to play. Recently we fight with godly phoveus in enemy team, I thought we lose with 7 - 29 but we win at last with score 17 - 35 thanks to everyone didnt giveup till the end with some courage and setup a trap to kill enemy together.
As a “regular” mm, there’s not shit you can do against a good Yin. Especially with a mm that has no escape skill. That was a bad pick against Yin frfr. His 1 and only job is to trap you with his ult. I’m an assn main that tries to stay with either an assn and/or mage as much as possible. I NEVER play as a fighter unless I absolutely have to and even I slayed with Yin. He’s way too easy to use an abuse. I was the only one on my team with over 2 kills. I went 19-3-4. Our team had an overal kill count of 24.
You have wind of nature plus winter to use. MM's should be using counter items anyways, there's a selection of them already for you to use. Miya will destroy Yin. Layla is 50/50 Karrie would dodge tf outa him and tank everything. Clint would laugh. Claude is 40/60 Natan would laugh harder. Brody and Granger should be able to either dodge or face tank it. YSS just wouldn't care.
wind of nature only last 2 sec while yin's ult last 6 sec. its best to not let yin focus you. in my opinion these heroes are good yin counters (they do not directly counter yin but has huge outplay potential): guinevere, kagura , fanny, wanwan (obv his best friend is his counter), hayabusa, popol, edith... there are many more who can outplay yin due to the flexible kit or cc skills.
It's bad to play Layla when there's a yin in the enemy side. He'll just trap you and you with no dash skill will just die. Miya is alright since her ultimate helps her avoid yin. In my opinion, just use Esme. She's too thicc for him and can just run away with first skill. Tried it and escaped unscathed.
Yin is a very good early game hero, and on top of that he can get kills and get fed so easily if players know how to play him, much like saber. So it's usually early domination if enemy are nubs
@@mikagekun5099 No he's not. Yin is an easy counter at late game either with items or counter picks. What do I mean? Well... I'm talking about his early game. If you know, Yin is a type of hero where once you reach level 4 you can easily gank any squishy hero solo without any help and once he execute it well and gets the snowball going, he becomes unstoppable early to mid and sometimes even late unless you manage to shut him down. Same way goes for saber, once level 4 easy kills and it goes on. Yin is definitely not a late game hero, he's too easy to outplayed and counter at late game, for who he is, he's an early beast and most players used him to his potential xD
@@rang5210 EXACTLY! Yin's playstyle revolves around early-mid game domination to put pressure on enemy marksmen or mages. A late game yin could easily be picked off in teamfights due to the amount of burst and cc before he can even cast hi ultimate, and even then his damage falls off hard late game in comparison to meta fighters like chou.
@@rhainjeus2519 lmao anyone at high rank can carry/ win against epics especially if they pick a strong late game hero like Esmeralda, also the so-called tips he gives are something even grandmasters known, not to mention it's NA server

What surprises me the most is that even in lvl 13, X.borg still hasn't build Immortality. That item is usually build for second or third item as it is a must have
my most used line is prolly dont attack the lord and it boggles me how sometimes we can be severly outnumbered and my teammates still think its a good idea to go for the lord when pretty much the whole of the enemy team is out
Esme meant to be a fighter/tank , not mage/tank Also when against yin if he ult at you best hero to pick is Wanwan and kagura cuz Wanwan and kagura have purify and it's hard to kill kagura cuz she have purify and has many tools to escape . Day 27 req betosky to play Selena lady vengeance skin
Day 50 of asking Beto to play Thamuz. Fun fact: Beto has played 10,515 matches and not one match has he played Thamuz, Thamuz is also the only hero he still has 0 matches with.
It's really great using her as a front liner when your team are very squishy and can attack from a far. I tried that and it's fun watching the enemies using all their stuns and ult to me while my team keeps on attacking them nonstop 🤣
When I use Esme for tank I always follow the marksmen. When I get a Layla mm I just follow her and heal her with revitalize. In a 2v1 situation with a mm I just block the enemy attacks and I act like a shield. Guess which side won the fight. And as a tank I check the bushes whenever we take lord or turtle. Usually when I go exp lane I use flicker-
@@Ihavenopointinliving Revitalize and vengeance are good if ur gonna use her as a tank. But if your gonna use her as a side laner it'll be better if you use purify. But flicker is good when the enemies doesn't have many stuns.
Tbh i love playing against Yin when I'm using Masha or paq but hate it when I'm using mage. He's too op for mages only way to kill him is to kill him before he can use his ult. So mage like kagura or Eudora is really good against Yin. IMO so far
I like using valir as a mage against yin with purify. Valir can kill yin under his domain, it's funny sometimes when enemy yin after ulting my valir running for his life under his domain 😂 haha
Today I got my first MVP playing Esmeralda and I've actually carried the game. So thank you. I've watched your Esmeralda gameplays so many times I've memorized everything. So thank me.
Yins mistake is not changing the retri to the blue cus the red (bloody I think) is useless and can't deal as much damage as before cus it's for tanks He didnt have hunter strike for extra cd reduction 10 from waraxe 10 from bloodlust 10 from hunterstrike 10 from the blue
Yin is so OP right now he's a pain in the ass. He can't be cc in his ult skill 1 and the skill 2's stun is almost 2 sec heroes without mobility fighting against him has a very hard time escaping. Just not fair
Bro, watching your videos improved my gameplay sooo much. U won't believe how much u helped me especially when playing as a tank or jungler. ❤️ Thank u
Ive used esme fought with pro yin before. He slayed all of our team almost all of the time. After i completed my item yin still locked me and unfortunately he cannot kill me anymore.. Table really has turned.. Esme was a reliable hero..
@@nytnyt7962 yes we did.. They have angela, we have estes.. Last time he revived manage to put me into his ulti twice back to back still unable to kill me..
I used esme as a counter for yin. He trapped me in his domain with me having full HP. Just ran around his domain with first skill like a madman. Escaped with full HP. The situation? Team was killing turtle and as a good tank, just went and checked all the bushes. I alerted the others when the other team tried stealing the turtle. We ended up getting the turtle.
yin was first released as a balanced hero before a buff which increase his damage scaling making him one of the most banned hero in s24. before yin would prefer to imprison low hp hero and squishy heros as they are easier to kill. but due to the damage scaling buff, yin can melt even sturdy heroes with ease. its no longer the matter of who is sturdy but weather the victim trapped in his domain can outplay him there. while yin has no direct counter, heroes with high outplay potential works against him. guinevere, esmeralda, grock, fanny etc are good counterpicks against him. as a guin player, i would harrass him and stack my marks while keeping a distance so when he ults me i can use my ult to knock him up in his domain. (yin mains can correct me where i am wrong and also give advice to other yin users on how to outplay those counter-strategies)
Just played an Esme game today! The enemies had Yin, so when he used his ult on me I just ran around the dimension like a maniac- with first skill ofc.
basically heroes who have high regen or high outplay potential have a higher chance of surviving yin's domain. esme has shield absorption to survive. guin is always my go to fighter and her outplay potential is very high. that is why she can win her lane easily so long as she is played properly
I used to be a top esme player in our city but I lost the account. Esmeralda was very nutty especially when she was first released Day 93 of asking Beto to play Minotaur
Esme is always meta, that mf shield and sustain in a 1v5 situation is too op, enemies are already half health and dmg dealer just need to back up. anyway i think purify is the best spell for her specially in soloq.
Esmeralda is my main and to me, she’s quite easy to play, you just have to be aggressive in the early game to dominate mid game. The problem always comes when teammates are too scared to engage with me when I’m fight a 2v1, this is why you guys should watch betosky, it’s to learn more about the game and when and when not to engage in fights!
Kinda off topic but i want people to realise that building athena sheild against Nana is useless because when she uses 2nd skill (Molina) and transform you, she gets 25% magic damage pretrenation (sorry if that was spelt wrong) and athena sheild provides 25% magic damage recuction so if your the mm you should invest in Something else
This really hits hard bcos I played Esme against Yin and lost due to a 0 10 4 hyper Miya (even after when we told the Miya player to play a tank cuz I wanted sidelane) Anyways gd job Beto keep it up
In the lower mythic tiers we rarely end the game but choose to take the lord because of the fear we might get outplayed somehow. But the lord is a guranteed win so we choose the safer option. especially since it's the hyper enhanced lord. Ending right away is usually risky
